Less pharmaceuticals and more cannabinoids is the answer.
No one has ever died from a Cannabis overdose.

Let's keep spreading the news, debunking the myths, and dismantling the negative stigma attached to Cannabis. Let's continue to Educate, Elevate and Heal Ourselves and Our Communities!

PURPLE RAINA arose out of my re-education on cannabis after I returned to Oakland, CA in 2013 after over 15 years in New York under prohibition. Cannabis took the edge off of exhilarating yet exhausting life in Brooklyn and Harlem.

Yet lack of awareness and safe access made it a crap shoot. I had heard about different strains but didn't know about indica, sativa, hybrid or to even question if pesticides were used.  There was just "weed." Either it moved me to listen to music and dance around the house, maybe do some usually dreaded cleaning or it knocked me out and locked me to my couch when I had stuff to do!

I am grateful to live and work in the progressive San Francisco Bay Area. Before Cannabis legalization in California when I received my medical recommendation and visited Oakland dispensaries to get my medicine, I thought it was almost too good to be true!  I still get a little giddy about being part of this unifying culture of healing.

The cannabis press does a great job of educating on Cannabis.  Yet this info often doesn't reach folks who don't know to seek it out or are not part of Cannabis culture.  Many folks are unaware of the healing properties of Cannabis and the wide range of new innovative products available in addition to Cannabis flowers.  As the appointed professional stoner chick in my crew, I have encouraged quite a few friends to take a closer look at Cannabis.Once I started started working in the cannabis industry in sales, marketing, and business

development, I automatically became an advocate. I'm most proud of convincing my mother who is in her 70's to use the PURPLE RAINA BALM WAND on her sore muscles. Dismissing prohibition propaganda she was raised on,  she gains confidence from knowing that she can medicate without smoking bud and has options with no psychoactive effect or for a more balanced functional high.

If Cannabis prohibition didn't exist and awareness were more widespread, more of our loved ones and leaders would still be with us or could have enjoyed more moments of peace towards the end of their lives. Musical & cultural icon and philanthropist Prince is tragically gone too soon from treating pain with opioids.

Less pharmaceuticals and more cannabinoids is the answer. No one has ever died from a cannabis overdose. Cannabis is not highly addictive like alcohol or opioids and can ease withdrawal from both. All of this without major side effects. So what's the problem, DEA and FDA? Let's keep debunking the myths and counteracting the negative stigma. We must continue to Educate, Elevate, and Heal Ourselves & Our Communities!
